Once upon a time, I’d 'burn the candle at both ends' and my fatigue would show up as pain between my shoulder blades. But I didn’t realize that it didn’t have to be that way; I didn’t realize that I was operating on adrenaline all the time.

The art of self-care is essential in order to decompress from tension’s tightening default. Inner equilibrium comes from learning how to slow down, to listen to your body, to pace yourself accordingly and simplify situations; to move in tune with yourself.
